I am guessing people are not answering you because of a couple of different reasons... fisrt of all, did you RTFM? The stands for Read The F--king Manual. Anyway, trying looking for a readme and see if it gives any help... they usually include one. Also you need to mount your disk drive, if it isn't already done. Easiest way without going into much, all you have to do is log into xwindows and it should mount it for you if you pop in the disk (at least I know it does in RH7). Anyway, try doing some of that -- but pray that there is a readme for yourself because that is going to be the only way for you to really know what to do!

Kinda hard to log into Xwindows, mount the drive and then install the video driver for X.
First tell us a little about your video hardware and the contents of the driver diskette readme. Should be readable in dos/windows.
Try the command 'startx' and post any errors you get.
Your video card may already be supported in the X version that comes with RH6.1, so first (from the commandline) try Xconfigurator or XF86Setup or xf86config. Also post any errors you may receive.
