What is reiserfsprogs? Anyone?

I've just upgraded my kernel to 2.4.2.

Before installing, you have to upgrade to the latest version of this program:
reiserfsprogs

I'm not sure that this update worked right. Does anyone know what this program is?

Reiserfsprogs is a set of utilities for the reiser filesystem. The utilities are the equivalent of mke2fs, fsck, etc. for ext2.
The Linux kernel supports the reiser FS, so I'd guess that you're updated kernel now wants the updated reiser goodies.
