Planet Penguin Racer - No Text

Hello all,

Merry Christmas! I'm having some trouble with Planet Penguin Racer - I can't read the menus or any smaller text (speeds, numbers, etc). Observe the attached screenshot (sorry, couldn't get it to appear in the post). Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Almost looks like you're missing the font, how very odd

What distro and video card are you using and if you know what video module?

Thanks. What's the font? I have an ATI Rage 128 Pro Ultra video card. I have had problems with 3d hardware acceleration and cannot play games like torcs. PPR works; It's just the fonts I'm having trouble with.

PS-I'm on KUbuntu. Video module? Please explain.
