Hello,
By APT I tried to install ClamAV antivirus on Linux Ubuntu 5.10 (in dual boot with the native PC OS, Windows 98 SE) but the installation partially failed due to a dependecies problem. So, I had a look at http://packages.ubuntu.com and noticed that there are several packages about ClamAV (clamav, clamav-base, clamav-daemon...etc.).
My question is: Am I supposed to install all of them?
Is there a particular procedure to follow?
Best Regards

According to the Ubuntu wiki, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ClamAV?highlight=%28clamav%29, all you need to do is any apt-get install clamav. Do an update and upgrade, and then try again.

I don't _think_ that the clamav package (by default) comes with a GUI frontend, so you may want to pick up one of those too.

Thank you deathadder and mrBen,
I followed your pieces of advice and succeeded in installing ClamAV.
As for its GUI frontend I installed ClamTk which is suitable for GNOME (if I had had KDE I would have installed Klamav).
Up with Linux!
