First time installed Mandriva 2005LE: "error while initializing sound driver"

The first time I installed Maandriva 2005 LE i have one error hmmmm?

Sound server informational message:
error while initializing the sound driver
device /dev/dsp can open (Permission denied)
The sound server will continue using the null output device.

Second is I use SU-----> password and typed in
mount /dev/hdc -o remount.rw
Error:
mount: can't find /dev/hdc in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab







KsCD can play my CD music,but I log on other players it can`t play my CD music.
When I open let say Amarok,Amarok people saying it is a good for playing music and I try others to.
I get an error it saying:

/dev/hdc: input/output error
mount: /dev/hdc: can read superblock
Please check that the disk is entered correctly.

Please I need to resolve the problem.

hotplug 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off

KsCD it recognize,so with KsCD it works.
But I like to use music cd on AMAROK ,it is not working.

Could not read /.

Mount point: /mnt/cdrom
Device :hdc
type: auto
options:unmask=0022,user,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850,ro,exec,users

Yes, but it looked like you were trying to mount your cdrom above. You don't mount audio cd's. The problem likely lies within amarok...you probably need to change amarok's settings to point to your cdrom, /dev/hdc. Is there a "preferences" or "options" menu somewhere in amarok?

Well in Amarok there is one it is call Configure Amarok and I try other one but two minutes ago with noatun the same thing.

You know what thank you and every one I wait for Linuxformat LXF 75 DVD with Mandriva 2006 coming out in canada.
Because everything will work on my computer for sure not 100% but for 1000% and I will let you know.
