RH7.1 - update or install clean?

I'm running Red Hat 7.0 and would like to move to RH 7.1. Should I select 'upgrade' at installation or should I format the drive and do a clean installation?

Upgrade has never worked for me. What I do is create another partition on my hd. Install the new distro and then slowly move everything from the old partition to the new.
Things like scripts and configuration files.
After I am satisfied that I have everything done right, then I remove the old partition. This is what works for me.
