Okay issue one. As a user, cannot get Skype to connect. as root (using su) I can.
Issue two, once it's connected I can't call or listen to my voice mails, I get the following error: /dev/dsp-1: Device or resource busy
How do I correct this without killing my sound server (as in defunct! It's happened before so I am a bit gun shy.)
