Parametercontrolled ftp-client

I need a ftp-client that can log in a user (with passwd, _not_ anonymous), upload a file and exit, all that from a script.

Anyone know of one?

Try ncftp, its great. A part of the ncftp package is ncftpput. Its a ftp client made for shell scripting.
