Hello,
I have scoured other forums and done numerous searches regarding this topic and it does not seem to be uncommon. Basically, when I run programs such as winecfg, I get an error message. Here is the konsole command with the relevant error message:
winecfg
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x24
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x28
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2c
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x30
I haven't had problems with this before in previous installations of FC4 with the same hardware, although this time I was more specific about the packages I wanted to install. I have an ATI Rage 128 Pro Ultra video card. I notice that the support for cards from ATI is getting better (I know they support the Radeon card, but I'm pretty sure they support this as well) and I was under the impression that support for this video card came bundled with XWindows (see this link-http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO/video.html). My machine recognises the card by name, as I have been looking at my xorg.conf file, and it seems to be fine in the screen section of the system settings menu. Any help would be appreciated, as I know that this is a common problem.
