I was watching a computer show on TV earlier (TechTV) and they had a web browser for Windows (Cubiceye I think..) that displayed 5 sites at once in the form of a cube (inside). I checked the company's website and it's only for Windows :( I was wondering if there is anything similar for Linux because I always have a million pages open on my browser (Opera) and it gets annoying having to switch between them every few minutes to see if there is anything new, etc. (I have like 5 message boards open now) Thanks!

I installed that on my Windows partition; it didn't work at all. So I'm not even sure if the browser is any good at HTML rendering, or anything :(. I know Opera is terrible at rendering HTML ;).

I like that idea though; I think if Cubiceye gets popular, they'll either port it or clone it for Linux

Did you search any of the well known Linux websites for similar packages?

Yeah I searched for at least an hour but came up with nothing... Well, like you said, if the Cubiceye gets popular someone'll make it for Linux I guess...

I know Opera is terrible at rendering HTML .

Please explain more. I've never seen a site which Opera couldn't handle.

Same here, I think Opera is wayyyy better than Netscape at that (among other things).

Linux already has that, it's called virtual desktops...

Versions of CubicEye are in the works for Linux & Macintosh & other os's; as well as for mobile phones, pdas & televisions. Also, you'll be able to open applications in the panels, not just websites...
