module errors

I compiled my ethernet card as a module and I'm getting some interesting errors. When Linux is booting, it gives me this message:
Device not configured Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
insmod .../3c503.o failed
insmod eth0 failed

However, my ethernet card seems to be running fine. Does anyone know what is going on here?

I don't know if this is it, but maybe it might be affected if you have plug and play OS enabled in your BIOS.

Check that out and see what happens :)
