Streaming videos in Mozilla Firefox appear too compressed

Streaming videos in Firefox does work, they're just a bit too "packed". Big squares like in a jpeg image with too much compression. They're working, so its not a big deal. Just if I can somehow make them look more smooth, like they look in windows based viewers?

If the file is poorly compressed in the first place there's not much you can do to make them better other then making the playback resolution smaller so the distortion is not noticable...

are you playing back in full screen?
