Hi. I just installed SuSE 10 on my Dell Inspiron 8200 and for some reason the DVD/CD-RW Drive is not being monitored by submount. I am able to manually mount the drive, but I cant get it to appear in "My Computer" or get it to automatically open konqueror when I insert a disc.

YaST->Hardware->CD-ROM Devices shows the drive, but the "Link" and "Mount Point" fields are blank. Clicking "Add" will add "/dev/" and "/media/" to these fields. Closing that window loses the changes (even after hitting apply).

I think it is trying to link the drive /dev/hdb to /dev/cdrecorder and mount it at /media/cdrecorder but I have no idea how to get it to do that and set it up to open Konqueror/k3B/whatever (SuSEPlugger?) when I insert a disc.

USB Sticks work without any problems.

Thanks
