Can't get java working with firefox-bin

I went through this guide, step by step.

and I can't get java working with my browser. Any thoughts?

Have you tried compiling firefox from source? That alone may fix your issue, though it will take a little longer to install.

Im running amd64, and yes I have. I hate to say this but after going through it the third time its working for some reason. Im not quite sure why, but whatever...
