Any responce ends up with a non-responceive screen afterwards.

I've tried rm /etc/vimrc, and restored it from a working system to no effect.

So what happens if you simply move the /etc/vimrc file to /etc/Vimrc and start vim?

Also, do you have a personal vimrc file? If you do, those values override the system defaults set up in /etc/vimrc.

Thanks for the shot.
Yes I also tried "mv /etc/vinrc /etc/vimrc.old" and have rm'ed personal .vimrc file for my user.
All users, and root see this problem

In relooking at the info, part of the problem seems to be that your /usr/share/vim/... files may be corrupted in whole or in part.

Error detected while processing /usr/share/vim/vim62/plugin/rrhelper.vim:
line 6:
E117: Unknown function: exists
E15: Invalid expression: exists("loaded_rrhelper")
Error detected while processing /usr/share/vim/vim62/plugin/tohtml.vim:

~MÅ
E15: Invalid expression: !&cp && !exists(":TOhtml") && has("user_commands")
Hit ENTER or type command to continue

That's from the end, but there are other references throughout the log that you posted.

If I were you, I'd purge (and I do mean the rpm option :) ) vim from your system and then make sure that the /usr/share/vim directory is COMPLETELY gone from your system. Clear the cache of any current vim rpms, then re-download and install a fresh copy of vim.

It may be a little bit of overkill with the cache thing and such, but if it fixes vim for you. :D

Knute,
Thanks having vim fudged up is what I was thinking. We have contacted our "support" and they are "talking to RH". I'll give them a some time to try to come up with somthing, if not then its rpm time.

I'll post back when fixed, with solution.

No Solution.

Problem appears to have self corrected  , no reboot, no changes to software, and no ideas from Service provider or RH

No further comments, unless I find somthing more.
