KDE Lockups

I was wondering if anyone else is having similiar problems. I just did a fresh custom install of RH 7.1 and KDE is really buggy for me. It locks up all the time and forces me to restart the x server, sometimes it locks the whole system up and I have to pull the plug. Gnome works great though no problems at all. I have updated all my rpm's (as of yesterday). Any thoughts? Anyone else having similiar problems?

I have installed RedHat 7.1 on a couple of Gateway P5-100's and an IBM Thinkpad 600E. I have noticed multiple lockup's when using the KDE on all machienes.
