I am having the most annoying problem I've ever had on linux. Any time my system is under any sort of load (copying files, whatever) the keyboard freaks out in X. Every keypress sends 1-35 or so keystrokes. It is impossible to do anything. I dropped into one of the text consoles to write this. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am running a dualcore system with SMP, preemptive scheduling, and preemptive kernel lock enabled. Could this be the cause?
