Soundcard

Hey guys after weeks of trying to get my SBLive to work under SuSE 7.1 I have given up nothing I do will make it work and I am going to buy a different soundcard. Which one do you guys recommend?

Slow down with the wallet, quickdraw. :) My SBLive is running just dandy in SuSE even as we speak. Fire up YaST2 and click software packages. Go to sound related, and make sure that emu10k1 is installed (I don't think it is with the default install) ALSA should be there by default, but check to make sure it launches at startup (somewhere in rc.d config) Then try sound config again. Someone else may have a better idea, but SBLive's are pretty well supported in Linux, so I wouldn't give up just yet.

I will try that when I get home. I yanked the card and took it to work and my Linux Mandrake recognized it and I heard sound.
