im guessing that you compile source rpm's yourself. how? Can you refer me to any web tuts...thanx.

Three good sources of info about the ins and outs of rpm:
1- open a console and do "man rpm".
2- go to Red Had support, and read the RMP-HOWTO.
3- go to the Red Had support, and read the on-line book "Maximum RPM".
