FreeBSD handbook?

I was browsing some books on FreeBSD at amazon.com and a lot of the reviews said that the books were basically the same as the documentation that comes with FreeBSD. However I cannot seem to locate the documentation that they're talking about. I found the SMM and stuff like that but they have entire chapters missing etc. Anyone know where I can get a big, comprehensive guide to FreeBSD online for free?? I know this should go in the Other OS forum but noone ever goes there anyway.
