Xconfigurator setup

I have a problem with Xconfigurator. Some how the I, or someone, changed the settings. Now I can't get it back to where I can see X clearly. Everything is very large. I have an exact installation on another computer. Can I duplicate a configuration file from one machine to the other. They both have the same monitors, however, the video cards are different. The monitor is not listed in the list when I run Xconfigurator, but it recongizes the video card. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You probably won't be able to use that config file unless it's a 100% identical installation on a 100% identical machine. You say that the only problem you have is that everything is very big? Do a forum search for "X resolution" and see if that helps...this topic is covered several times per week. If it's something else, you might want to run xf86config, but that often takes a while and a few tries. You also have to have a good knowledge of your monitor.
