Ok, my brother has a dual boot Win98/Mandrake Computer. I installed Mandrake, it ran fine everything's all good. Then, about a week ago I get this crazy error about drakfont not being about to find the default font 'fixed'. Hoping I could give my brother some experience with Linux, I told him to install it again himself, format the non-Windows partitions and start over. He did, and he got it installed and running fine. Rebooting went fine. Now all of a sudden he's getting the same error again. GAH! My 3 question are: What the hell is going on, how can I fix it, and how can I stop it from happening again? There's no way in hell I'm reinstalling it again.

CS, did you check the files section in XF86Config? 75dpi or 100dpi font files should be somewhere. Just check which one and configure XF86Config accordingly.
