Hello everyone, I was able to set up my printer with apsfilter the other day. My printer is a HP LaserJet 1100 and I am running Slackware 7.1. This computer is on my network and is just a print server, no monitor, keyboard or mouse is on this box. The way I control it is through telnet.
The problem is after I set the printer up I can print the test page and plain text document but nothing else. If I try to print a HTML page the job goes to the print queue, but nothing come out the printer. Also if I print just plain text documents the first line gets cut off the top. Has anyone seen this happen before? What am I doing wrong? Am I suppose to use some type of filter for different file types or what?
