Suse 7.1 problems

After installing Suse 7.1 had three problems. I solved two of the problems truetype fonts and cd burner. But the one thats really pissing me off is the mouse. I have a MS intelli mouse on the PS2 port it works find except for the scroll wheel. Beign I bought the retail package I sent Suse an email. They replied and on how to fix the problem it dosent work. I have tried everthing. Please anyone using Suse 7.1 how did you get your scroll wheel to work. Heres what I got in my xf86config file.

Protocol "IMPS/2"
Device "/dev/psaux"
ZAxisMapping 4 5

Seems like every distro I have tried it never gets the mouse right. The only distro that did was eDesktop 2.4 but I switch do to the packages are getting a bit out date. Other then that Suse 7.1 is a perty good distro. The online update works flawelessly.

hmmmmm - I have same mouse and the wheel works fine in Suse7.1

Have you tried setting it up in Sax2??

If you try this just make sure that under the mouse configuration go to the "Expert" tab section and set up the ZAxis 4 5 bit in the "Buttons" section. Also, hit the "Apply" button before continuing otherwise the mouse will go troppo if you don't.
