DC doesn't work! Any good file sharing app!?

Hi!
I installed DCGUI-QT, it works great, exept it doesn't download anything, even filelists. When I try to download something very often I get this:

Sometimes when I try to connect to some hubs I get this:
<SecureHub> Can't parse your DC++ tag, I suppose it's wrong

Then I installed dctk and dc-qt! It works, but when I try to search for something it usaly doesn't search at all! Or in most cases it searches for my old search terms, even if I enter a new one!

I downloaded giFT with the apollon GUI, but when I run it all I can do is add some sig2dat link. I guess I need to install other plugins. Does giFT have DC plugin? I didn't find one! What could be the problem with DC? Maybe you could suggest some other DC clients? Thank you!

I use gtk-gnutella (http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/) and it works really well. There's also LimeWire, but it automatically shares your download directory and doesn't let you remove the sharing.

I've never used the free version of Limewire for linux, but I'm using Limewire Pro and I can disallow sharing of my files with two clicks.

I just talked with a coworker who uses LimeWire and he said the same thing.
I was using the free version.

That being the case, LimeWire is an excellent choice, the hit rate is good, downloads are fast, and the option to browse a particular host is really cool!

I second giFT.

It comes with a lot nice user interfaces (http://gift.sourceforge.net/software/guis.mhtml). I recommend giFTcurs, it's nice.

One complaint I do have though about the giFTcurs frontend... I can't use the standard middle-click paste. :mad:
