Really newbie question about installin x-windows

I just installed linux for the first time, using the Debian potato distro. I've got it installed and everything, and the prompt and can log on and such, how do I install x-windows GUI-thing from here? I realize this is probably plastered all over the net, but I can't seem to find anything about installing it from the text linux prompt. A link to an article on how to do it or an explanation would be much appreciated.
