I am trying to clean up my system of stuff I don't need-ie sendmail daemon, etc. So do I need klogd for anything?

Thanks

Good question.
Dunno tho...

I guess it's a good thing, knowing what the kernel's telling you.

Why "clean" out kerneld?

You remind me of old ladies that want to "clean out windows", and delete all .sys and .dll files "because I didn't make'em." :D

klogd = Kernel Log Daemon. It might come in handy some time.

MBMar....-
I just like having a slim system resource wise. If I don't actually need something, why keep it?

Sounds like the old ladies in Netherlands are pretty dangerous to their own systems.
