In earlier distributions, I had no problems at all, at least through Mandrake 7.2

I think I had problems in Mandrake 8.0, but not in 8.2.

By the time I installed Mandrake 9.2 I figured out the problem, or at least how to fix it. I had to configure the keyboard as a US International keyboard, and then configure the specific keyboard in KDE (Under accessability) as 105-key international keyboard.

Now that Ive installed Mandrake 10.2 Iḿ having keyboard problems, but this method to fix it is not working anymore. Not that in order to start KDE, I ended up deleting .kde entirely. I still have a backup so I would try copying the old keyboard configuration file, but it is not obvious what file that is. (I tried ls -aR .kde | grep -i keyboard but nothing came up.)

My keyboard is a PC Concepts 61565 if that helps.

Iḿ getting really tempted to just go out and buy a new keyboard, unless anyone can help.

Thanks.
