i am running the latest slackware along with the latest version of samba for slackware(via swaret ). the problem is when i click on a share it locks up windows explorer and takes about 30 seconds to recover and then execute the file.
i have two more pc's running slackware but not the same issue all running the same version of slack and samba.
the problem has been going on for about a month. i checked the other network services on that system and they all seem fine. and the network card is working as it should.

has anyone else had or have this problem ?is it fixed? and how?

thanx in advance

Check the samba logs in /var/log/samba/smb.log or see if there are any kernel messages in /var/log/messages, they might give a hint of what to look for.
If two others are working fine I'd guess that there is a mis-configure on the one but hopefully the logs will help a little better
