Hi! Nop i can't install linux in NTFS, but you can make a new particion and then use to install linux, just take some space from NTFS and put the free space as a unkown particion, and boot red hat disk, with the disk druid i think you can see the unknown particion and do a new linux particion with it. Sorry if this seams confusing, but i think it realy is :)
Hope i helped

You can't even install it on FAT, you will need an "ext2" partition or another linux friendly partition type.
When you are there you will need some extra parametres to let the windos NTFS disk to be accessed by linux. But that's not difficult..

You have a couple of options...
- You could have installed Windows 2000 on a FAT32 Partition. Then LILO can read it and your dual-boot will work perfectly.
- You could have setup a very small c: partition as FAT16 and a larger d: partition (as NTFS). Install the Windows 2000 System files on d: with the boot files on c:. LILO will then be able to read the W2K boot loader on the FAT partition and you'll successfully Dual-Boot.
- Do the same as above, but install LILO into the linux partition. Setup loadlin.exe and edit your boot.ini accordingly.

Or, just use xosl (www.xosl.org)
