I asked this question a while back, but never got an answer for that more specific portion of it, so the question has changed a bit.
Can anyone tell me of a tool for measuring the overburn capabilities of blank media?
I cant remember what it was, but years ago in my Windows days I remember there was a tool for measuring the "safe-zone" of overburn for a CD. Looking for the same thing for DVD-R/W.
On CD it was generally between 2-4MB. Is it safe to assume this would be about 12-25MB on a DVD? Ive never seen anyone ask about overburn on a DVD.
