I was just wondering if Linux supported reading multisession DVD-Rs. I've seen that Windows only supports it in XP. If so, does linux support burning multisessions?
Thanks

I know the option is available in most GUI tools I've looked at such as xcdroast and k3b. pezplaya 05-23-2005, 12:40 PM Originally posted by JayMan8081 I do believe you can burn multisession DVDs in Linux. I know the option is available in most GUI tools I've looked at such as xcdroast and k3b. A while ago I transfered a home video from my camcorder to my computer and edited it, fixed it up added menus and everything and burned it to dvd. I tried copying it the other day to give to my dad but k3b said it couldn't burn multisession dvds. are u sure? maybe i need to change an option somewhere and or recompile? JayMan8081 05-23-2005, 01:49 PM Hmm, I could be wrong on the k3b. I just checked in xcdroast though and there is an option for multisession DVDs. I currently only have gnome and xcdroast installed on my office system, but I thought I remembered seeing this option in k3b. If I get a chance to check on one of our lab machines I'll get back to you about k3b. justlinux.com
