Hi all

I remmeber when I first installed Thunderbird, I couldnt get Firefox to launch when I clicked a link. But after following some instructions (I think from the Mozilla Website) I got it to work by making a symlink (again, I think).

I cant relocate those instructions and since I upgraded to FF 1.04, its broke again.

I know its not the location of Firefox tahts chnaged since my IDESK icon still points to /usr/local/firefox/firefox and that still works.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hong

Yes, thats the way I did it before.

I just checked that file and the lines:

user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "/usr/local/firefox/firefox");

user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.https", "/usr/local/firefox/firefox");

are already in there. Nothing has changed.

What gives? Still dont work :confused:

I'm just wondering, do you have to have the line in there twice?

Nope. The line is just in there on its own as I have posted above.

My Firefox and Thunderbird are both 1.0.
No user_pref entry for both but
mailto link from Ff to Tb and http/https links from Tb to Ff
both works fine, by default I suppose.
