Questions about UBB and other forums

I am thinking about hosting my own forums for one of my websites. EZBoard is always down. And when they are up, ya get there popup adds now.

Do I realy have to pay $250 for UBB for non profit 150 users? is there a good alternative that is easy to install?

Check out www.vbulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com) . This is a pretty good message board, and looks much like UBB's.

I thinbk I will go with http://www.phpbb.com. My only worry is MySQL. Is mysql in RH6.2 (full install)? :confused: how do i check to see if it is installed? And will it run ok on a p100 92 mb's ram?
