raid 5 issue

any idea about this problem ...

linux server having 6 hdd and configured using RAID 5.
only oracle db is installed.

without breaking the array how more 6 hdd can be added ?

In order to increase the size of a RAID5 array, you must rebuild the array, ie. destroy all data residing on it.

If you only want to add hot spares, then you may do so without having to rebuild.
