Hello all,

Ive been trying to install an old version of redhat on an old thinkpad 365 (without the CD-rom drive) and i cant seem to get the screen resolution right for the 10.4 " screen. Would anyone out there know what it would be because theres about an inch border missing so i cant see the panel at the bottom.

Also if anyone has any tips or tricks for this model of laptop i would love to hear them.

P.S how come theres a banner advert for windows server software on this site???

Seeing how that link should answer your computer question :) I thought I would take a stab at the second part of your question....

I believe all the ads displayed here are part of an ad server, JL has no control over content, as far as I know. so you are bound to get a few MS ads from time to time..

IMHO

Bingo. :) I think it's a nice trait of Microsoft to pay for a Linux site. ;) Not sure if they know it, though, the probably bought just a service that displays their ads on any tech site. BTW, if they bother you, you can turn them of with the ad blocking feature in firefox. :D
