Sending Mail?

Well - I setup sylpheed so I'd have a program to check my IMAP servers while I was on Linux. However - I now have a major problem. I can GET mail, but I sure as heck can't send mail. (In fact - this seems to be a bug in sylpheed - it freezes if it can't connect to the server.)

Anyway...I download my mail through the IMAP connection - however - I am sending it through SMTP. But...like I said...it doesn't seem to send. Anybody know how to fix this problem. (Everything matches up as with Outlook's settings. The only thing I can think of is some sort of firewall problem. I'm running IPTables.)

Okay - if sylpheed manages to fix its bugs, it'll be a great program. Until then - it's way too unstable to run. And, as one of the people posting sylpheed's bugs up on sourceforge said, "You need more threads running so you can still close the program down when it crashes."
