Why would it be a hoax on Hitachi's website? Here is an article on it (http://news.com.com/Hitachi+claims+leap+in+drive+density/2100-7337_3-5650919.html).

It'll still be a while before they bring these drives to market. I do wonder why they made the animation because people care more about the drive capacity than the technology inside it, but it gave me a few laughs anyway. :)

Personally I can't wait because I want an iPod mini sized music player with 30GB capacity that can play Oggs and I also want it to cost less than £50, I don't think I'm asking too much here. ;)
