Not to start a distro war, but I`m kind of a newbie, just been into linux a couple of months. I`m currently running slackware, but it is very hard to configure, and I was wondering what distribution I could use that has easy configuring (specially isdn conf) and is sort of easy to use (I have learned quite a bit, so mandrake I don`t want). I am thinking about using a distro just to learn more about linux before returning to slackware.

You might want to take a closer look at SuSE, which traditionally has strong ISDN support and is generally quite easy to maintain.

Apart from that, I can recommend LibraNet, which is rock solid and would be a sort of "middle way" between Slackware and SuSE.
