I currently have winME, win2000 and Linux on my system. Using a floppy to boot into Linux.

Any way I can boot into Linux from the win2000 boot selection menu ?

LILO also having problems. something to do with exceeding 1024 cylinders. I tried using bootpart and followed the instructions in the Readme file but failed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cant boot linux from any windows bootloader. Ad for your LILO predicament, just get the latest version. The newer lilo no longer have the 1024 cylendar boot limit.

actualy, if you install lilo to the partition that you installed linux to and not the MBR, then you can probably use the windows 2000 boot loader to choose between them. I've heard this done before.

In the file boot.ini on your first win-partition you can add posts i f you know the partition structure of your harddrive.
Just copy the win2k line and change the partition info so that it fits Linux. You MUST have LILO on the partition you point at with Win2k-loader. ;)
