so during installation i seleced to log in using graphical mode (redhat 7.1 btw)
but even though my ATI radeon is supported, it doesn't work. So i need to install some drivers i think from dri or something, but first, i must be able to LOG ON to my computer......but it automatically goes to graphic mode and hangs.......is there a way to log on now w/o having to re-install redhat??? the bootdisk didn't work btw
thanks a lot

At the boot prompt type linux 1 which will take you to single user mode, then cd to /etc and open your inittab file. Change the line id:5:initdefault: to id:3:initdefault: save the change and then reboot. You should now boot to CLI rather than X.
