I successfully maintain a 150 user Windows 2K3 domain at my job. Unfortunately, my interest isn't what it use to be. Therefore I plan to build a small linux domain for practice and hopefully the wealth of knowledge I will acquire along the way. Anyway, I need a few answers from someone and hopefully that someone will be a member of this site.
What Linux OS is better suited for controlling a domain?
Is there a Linux OS answer for Microsoft Exchange?
Also, which one is better suited for DHCP, DNS, HTTP, and FTP?
My main concern is what Linux OS to use as my server. I plan to use Lyrocis for my clients. My only real question with that is if lets say I use RedHat 9 for a "server". Will it make what client OS I use?
If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
