Hello,

I can mount data CD's without any problem, read them, and even burn CD's. My problem is when I try to mount a audio CD I get the following error message

/dev/scd0: Input/output error
mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified

I would hate to have to go into M$ in order to rip my audio tracks.

thanks in advance

Audio CDs don't have a filesystem and you don't need to mount them ;)

Just put in the CD and start your favourite ripper (I suggest grip+cdda2wav).
