Now that Gnome 2.10 has been officially released what does everyone think?
Overall I like it. I do like the new menu layout although the inability to edit it ticks me off. The inability to right-click and see the details of a menu item is also a nuisance. The weather applet now has my home city so I don't have to use the closest big city which often has slightly different weather. Unfortunately it's incorrect in it's temperature by about 10C. I'm also missing the 'forecast' component of the temp plugin but it's a start.
On the plus side it doesn't seem any slower than 2.8. I was worried because 2.8 was certainly slower than 2.6 for me. The new torrent app that came with Ubuntu Hoary, gnome-btdownload, is pretty spiffy. Nothing has crashed yet even though I'm using a Ubuntu pre-release.
