Now that Gnome 2.10 has been officially released what does everyone think?

Overall I like it. I do like the new menu layout although the inability to edit it ticks me off. The inability to right-click and see the details of a menu item is also a nuisance. The weather applet now has my home city so I don't have to use the closest big city which often has slightly different weather. Unfortunately it's incorrect in it's temperature by about 10C. I'm also missing the 'forecast' component of the temp plugin but it's a start.

On the plus side it doesn't seem any slower than 2.8. I was worried because 2.8 was certainly slower than 2.6 for me. The new torrent app that came with Ubuntu Hoary, gnome-btdownload, is pretty spiffy. Nothing has crashed yet even though I'm using a Ubuntu pre-release.

I went to the pre-release of Ubuntu just this last weekend. I really like it also. Nothing I can put my finger on, its just overall even more polished.

I really like the Ubuntu Update Manager. Its fun seeing the icon pop up in the system tray saying I have more updates...and then the manager itsself is so easy to use.

The Ubuntu team is doing just a killer job!

I just added the update-monitor earlier tonite. Yet for it to pop up and tell me to do something though as I'm up to date. It reaks of XP's autoupdate but for some reason I trust Ubuntu more than I do MS....how irrational ;).

Problem with reviewing 2.10 from Haory is sometimes it's hard to tell where Ubuntu ends and Gnome begins.
