Anyone using AC97 via soundchip ?

hello all,
i have bought new mainboard having onBoard soundchip. it's VIA AC97 soundchip. I use sndconfig to detect and it's succesfully detected. But it didn't prompted me for irq or dma and exit immedietly. Problem encountered when restarting system. When insmod, my system hangs up. Now i canot entering my system.
Anyone using the same HW, anyone can help ???

Don't have one myself, but you could search freshmeat.net or maybe do a Google search at www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) for the soundchip.

Some of the Linux hardware/driver sites may have something.
