using debian.

With cedega 4.1 installed (from the .deb file) I went to liflg.org and got the packages for Jedi Academy and installed it without error. But when I launch the games I get an error message:

JA: v1.0.1.0 win-x86 Oct 24 2003
Initialising zone memory .....
----- FS_Startup -----
Current search path:
D:\software\jediacademy\base\assets3.pk3 (16 files)
D:\software\jediacademy\base\assets0.pk3 (15346 files)
D:\software\jediacademy/base

Running in restricted demo mode.

----- FS_Startup -----
Current search path:
D:\software\jediacademy/demo

Couldn't load default.cfg

it is a error within jedi academy, meaning cedega never crashs. It sees like the installer is not working because I uninstalled and reinstalled and i still get the same error.

Yes I did mount the cd before i started the game.

ANY IDEAS?

Found this little blurb on the unofficiail wiki, but they don't appear to have a separate page for it yet. Apparently they're in the process of switching to a new system.

This game is officially supported by Transgaming, so you might want to drop them a line and see if they can help. Not saying your problem won't get solved here, but they are the experts:)

Could be the installer, this line just doesn't look right to me at all

Current search path:
D:\software\jediacademy/demo

path looks right but the / \ don't

Have you tried installing it without the liflg.org installer?

some how i got it working. Not 100% sure why but it may be one of the following:

installed it to the C:/ drive instead of to my home.

and/or

changing the config file to read my cdrom instead of its mount directory:

[Drive H]
"Device" = "/dev/dvd"
"Type" = "cdrom"
"Label" = "dvd"
