Can't boot blackbox with XDM...

I created a .xsession and put exec blackbox in it... I just get a black screen and then it returns to xdm.. What am I doing wrong?

Can you run blackbox or X in general without errors? That is to say, if you boot into RL 2/3 can you run X and bb from the CLI? Also, not certain if it matters, but did you 'chmod +x .xsession'?

I can run blackbox fine from the console... Just messes up w/ xdm.

i can start bb just fine with startx. infact, i did xwmconfig and selected bb as the default wm for the system.
