I think you're talking about registering to vote? http://www.transgaming.com/vote.php apparently "members" get to vote on the direction and content of the projects .. if you find more info let us know ..

I've looked at it a bit also, and that's how I understand it. If you're a paying subscriber, you get to have a vote on which projects they take on. Interesting idea really...they get funding, and you get a say in what gets ported.

I'm sort of hoping it will work...anything that gets more games in Linux is good.

What about the Wine program is it just a suped up version of the codeweavers wine.

It's the same version of wine but with support for directx. (Most windows games are written with directx)

When they get enough money I think they plan on merging their code with the wine project.

Cool..can u 'try' to install games with it that are unsupported

right now you can't do anything...

but i guess they plan on releasing it as open source if they get enough suscribers. At that point you will be able to do what ever you want.
