I've recently been on the search for a program similar to Windows "Proxy Hunter" by Zhang Feng - but for Linux (what else?). I know there has to be something out there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could just use nmap and scan the entire internet for port 8080 and 1080. A good place to get all kinds of different scanners is http://packetstormsecurity.org I think is the adress. They recently changed domain names so you might have to search google for it. DAYS worth of fun archived at that spot ;-)
good luck!

Oh yeah...didn't think about using NMap. Heh. Whoops.

Well, if I'm going to be using NMap - another question - is there any way to hide where I am coming from going directly through NMap? I heard that this could be done, but, I never managed to figure out how. Thanks for the help.

P.S. Yeah - PacketStorm is awesome. I checked there before I came here to ask, but, didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks anyway.

Thank you m3rlin. I'm not sure I'll be needing it for Windows - because of the usage of NMap. But, if I need it, I'll be sure to contact you.
