In gnome-terminal € symbol appears when pressing alt gr+e. This is the way it works all around system ie. in firefox, thunderbird, openoffice and so on. Also on keyboards "€" is printed on same key as "e". So obiviously this is how it should work.

In aterm if i press alt gr+e nothing happens, but suprisingly enough (atleast to me) shift+4 outputs €.

Maybe someone can explain how to fix this.

Is shift+4 so bad? Aterm I think has it's own custom terminal emulator.... So read it's man page. Gnome-terminal uses vte.

Yes, it's not too bad. :) But i'll search for answers since i've got nothing better to do. (so far no luck) I thought maybe someone sorted it out already.
